The rapid development and industrial application of new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) require new telecoms networks.

Telecoms operators globally are acquiring 5G spectrum and modernising their network infrastructure to meet this long term demand.   

These network modernisation projects demand a new set of skills from aspiring telecoms technicians.

The VIT has developed a bespoke programme to meet a growing demand: The Telecoms Projects Technician Certificate

The programme is delivered through a hybrid model, anchored on e-learning platforms but also recognising the need for limited physical instruction.
